You may or may not have heard of Reborn Dolls or "Babies" as they should really be called. But you're sure to find them as fascinating as I did on first discovery!
It's the art of taking an ordinary vinyl doll, and customising it, creating a beautiful lifelike baby using special hair, paint, tools etc to create lifelike hair, veins, skin pigment and colour. The process of creating a Reborn Baby is referred to as
Reborning.
It has become increasingly popular as collectable items. The completed dolls are popular among adult female collectors, who buy them on eBay or from doll artists ("Reborners"). Take your time to wander through my site and see just how lifelike they really are. I especially like the Preemies
